Privacy notice

McDonaldsMonopolyComplaints.com is an independent consumer project operated by Martin Stevens, acting individually. It is not affiliated with McDonald's or Hasbro. To contact us about privacy, use the privacy request form. A dedicated contact email address is pending.

• Account details: your email address and a password (stored only in protected form).
• Report details: purchase date, restaurant location, items purchased and your description of what happened.
• Contact details, kept separately from the report: your name and, if you choose, a phone number.
• Files you choose to upload: JPEG, PNG or PDF, up to 5 files of 10 MB each. We record each file's size, type and a digital fingerprint (SHA-256) and keep the original unchanged.
• Your permission choices, with the version of this notice you saw and the time.
• Privacy requests you send through the form, including the reply email you give.
• Security records: actions such as sign-ins to the review area, status changes and file access attempts. These records do not contain report text or files.

Do not send Social Security numbers, full payment card numbers, passwords, identity documents, or information about children.

To receive and review consumer reports about the 2026 promotion, to contact you if you allow it, to protect the service against abuse, and to respond to privacy requests. A report is treated as an account of your experience, not as proof of wrongdoing.

Before you submit, you choose separately: (1) permission for us to process your report (required to submit); (2) whether an attorney reviewing the matter may contact you (optional); and (3) whether your report may be used publicly in an identifiable way (optional). No box is pre-ticked. Using this site does not create an attorney-client relationship and does not join you to any lawsuit.

Only you and invited reviewers who sign in with two-step verification. Uploaded files stay locked in private storage; until a malware scanning service is connected, no one can download them, including reviewers. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.

Information may be shared with an attorney only for the purposes you permit, or where required by law.

• Lovable: website hosting, database, sign-in and private file storage (Lovable Cloud).
• Resend: planned for short confirmation emails. Not active yet. Emails will never include your report, personal details, files or links to files.

Hosting and network providers may process IP addresses and technical request details to deliver and protect the site. We do not add advertising trackers or analytics.

Pending. A retention period has not been decided yet and will be published here before reporting opens. Records under a valid legal hold may be kept longer, and we cannot promise to delete them while the hold applies.

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or withdraw a permission, using the privacy request form. We will verify your identity first, usually by confirming the request from the email on your account. Withdrawing permission stops future use but does not undo use that already happened.

We use encrypted connections, private storage, account-level access rules and two-step verification for reviewers. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot promise absolute confidentiality.

Reporting is for adults (18+) describing their own purchases.

If this notice changes, the version above will change and you will be asked to review the new version before submitting.
